As horse owners we should familiarise ourselves with what a tendon is and why it is important to look after them. A tendon injury, otherwise known as tendonitis, has the potential to end your horse's athletic career, although this isn't always the case, prevention is better than a cure.

There is more to clipping than tidy lines and seamless blending. Whilst these are important factors for many horse owners who clip their horses in winter or year round, many horses suffer from problems where clipping the affected areas can drastically improve welfare.
