Compose® 2x is a pelleted concentrated calming formula for horses prone to anxiety or excitability in stressful situations.
Many horses are sensitive to activities such as trailer loading, hauling, grooming, farrier work, veterinary examinations, showing, separation anxiety and other stressful situations. The excitability often places the horse and handler into hazardous circumstances. Compose® 2x contains tryptophan, thiamine, and magnesium that help calm the horse while keeping him alert and responsive. Tryptophan is a building block of serotonin production in the brain. Serotonin regulates mood balance and is responsible for the transmission of nerve signals through the brain. Thiamine plays a role in nerve transmission and is important in controlling hyperactivity. Magnesium is important in maintaining correct nerve transmission and muscle function. Compose® 2x provides mental composure without the negative side effects of tranquilizers.

| Instructions for use | For Use Prior to Activities: Administer 2 scoops (85 grams or 1/2 standard kitchen measuring cup) per 1,000 lbs (450 kg) body weight on an empty stomach. After administering Compose® 2x allow 1 to 3 hours prior to activities such as loading, hauling, training, showing, new environment, grooming, health maintenance or similar procedures. For Long term maintenance: Administer 2 scoops (85 grams or 1/2 standard kitchen measuring cup) per 1,000 lbs (450 kg) body weight once per day with a meal. |
