Feedmark Meadowblend Slippery Elm Powder (Equine)
Provides soothing support for gastric and colonic health.
When digested, Slippery Elm takes on a gel-like consistency which coats the digestive tract and gives a soothing action, ideal support for horses with gastric or colonic issues. Slippery Elm is beneficial in supporting normal urinary function, and can be used externally as a poultice to draw out toxins.
Slippery Elm bark is rich in mucilage, which becomes a gel when it comes in contact with liquids. This helps to coat and line the gastrointestinal tract. It also helps to promote a healthy balance of bacteria within the hindgut. Slippery Elm is useful for those with urinary issues, and can be used externally as a poultice.

| Instructions for use | Up to 400kg (under 14hh) - ½ scoop Over 400kg (over 14hh) - ¾ scoop 1 level (50ml) scoop of Slippery Elm weighs approximately 26g. Feed supplements should be fed according to body weight; height has been given as a guide. Introduce to the horse's diet gradually, splitting between feeds (when applicable). Slippery Elm is a complementary feeding stuff for equine animals. Feedmark uses nothing in the formulation of this product that contravenes competition rules. |
