Seaweed is a naturally rich source of minerals that support normal metabolism, good quality hoof growth and coat health. With high levels of Iodine, Seaweed is often fed to support correct thyroid activity.
Ascophyllum Nodosum seaweed provides a rich source of bioavailable minerals, especially Iodine, and has traditionally been used for thyroid support. Seaweed is fed to horses and ponies with cresty necks, and can aid normal fat distribution. It is also beneficial for the hooves, and is fed by many owners who follow barefoot principals.
Unsuitable for pregnant mares.

Instructions for use | Up to 400kg (under 14hh) - ½ scoop Over 400kg (over 14hh) - ¾ scoop 1 level scoop (50ml) weighs approx. 40g/1.4oz. Do not give to pregnant or lactating mares due to the high levels of iodine. Feed supplements should be fed according to body weight; height has been given as a guide. Introduce to the horse's diet gradually, splitting between feeds (when applicable). Seaweed is a complementary feeding stuff for equine animals. Feedmark uses nothing in the formulation of this product that contravenes competition rules. |
