Instructions for use | Up to 400kg (under 14hh) = 2 scoops Over 400kg (over 14hh) = 4 scoops 1 level scoop of Clivers weighs approx 6g/0.2oz. Feed supplements should be fed according to body weight; height has been given as a guide. Introduce to the horse's diet gradually, splitting between feeds (when applicable). Traditionally, Clivers have been used internally as a tonic for the lymphatic system. It is considered to have diuretic and astringent actions when eaten, so can be helpful for fluid retention such as with wind-galls or filled legs. It is also rich in silica, so can help strengthen the coat. Clivers can also be helpful as an astringent tonic to promote healthy skin. Clivers can be used externally on irritated dry skin as a poultice or an infusion. Clivers and Dandelion roots and leaves are a good combination and can be fed long term. Clivers is a complementary feeding stuff for equine animals. Feedmark uses nothing in the formulation of this product that contravenes competition rules. |
