What you need to do? Choose a day to collect samples when worming is due or overdue for most of the horses to be tested. The samples should be as fresh as possible, but can be posted the day after collection. 1. Use the disposable glove to pick up a small piece of fresh dung, which should fill the container. 2. Label the sample with the horses name and a number (if you are sending more than one sample). Please write this in ball point pen, as water-based inks may wash off. 3. Put the sample container is the plastic bag and seal. 4. Place the sample and paperwork inside the padded bag and pop in the post. What happens next? The sample arrives at Westgate Labs, where it is prepared and examined under the microscope. The results are then sent to the SQP at Supplement Solutions, who will determine whether or not your horses need worming. We will then give you a call or send you an email to have a chat about your horse's results. European Purchases: Westgate Labs Worm Count Kits can be purchased by European customers but postage back to the UK must be paid by the customer. Ideally, post the sample back on a Monday using the fastest delivery option. Samples will remain valid for 6 days. Include a note stating the day the sample was taken.
