Barrier H is an innovation in Ragwort control, destroying this deadly weed in record time, right through to the root. Barrier H can be applied at all stages of growth. Unlike any other sprays, Barrier H can be sprayed onto flowerheads only to stop the seeding process straight away. Ideal for Councils, Highway Authorities and Network Rail faced with complaints from neighbouring landowners.
This Environmentally Friendly and Effective all year round control for Ragwort, MAPP no. 17145, is sold as a ready to use spot spray in a 5L container with applicator gun. Within hours of application, small rosettes are dead - right through to the roots.

| Instructions for use | Crop: Amenity grassland, grassland, green cover on land not being used for crop production. Maximum individual dose: 15ml product per plant (spot treatment only) Directions for use: Important: This information is approved as part of the Product Label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully, in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product. Shake vigorously before use. WEAR SUITABLE PROTECTIVE (COVERALLS) AND SUITABLE PROTECTIVE GLOVES AND RUBBER BOOTS WHEN HANDLING AND APPLYING THE PRODUCT. Wash hands before meals and after work. Dosage: When applying the product using a 5 Litre trigger spray head container, the maximum individual dose must not exceed 5 squirts per plant. When applying the product using a hand-held knapsack sprayer, the maximum individual dose must not exceed 15ml per plant. This product should ideally be applied at rosette stage. This product will provide rapid destruction of aerial growth. Longer term control of ragwort will depend on the overall management strategy. Check for re-growth after 28 days and re-apply as necessary. Covering: Apply the product until the weed is well covered, but not to the point of run-off. Avoid contact with grasses where possible, e.g. by spraying in still conditions. Such contact will result in transient scorch, which would be replaced by fresh growth in good growing conditions. Storage and disposal: Empty container thoroughly and dispose of contents/container safely to a licensed hazardous-waste disposal contractor or collection site, except for empty clean containers which can be disposed of as non-hazardous waste. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs. Keep out of reach of children. Keep in original container, tightly closed in a safe place. KEEP LIVESTOCK OUT OF TREATED AREAS for at least 2 weeks and until foliage of any poisonous weeds such as ragwort have died and become unpalatable. |
